§04How these are written

Four rules we hold ourselves to.

  1. Plain English first

Every document opens with a short summary in ordinary language. The formal text follows for the cases where precision matters more than readability.

  2. No hidden charges

Nothing on this site auto-renews, and no payment method is stored to be charged later. A plan is a window you bought, and it simply ends.

  3. Dated, not silently edited

Each policy carries the date it last changed. We do not revise a live document and leave the date alone.

  4. Nothing invented

Where a fact is not settled yet — a registered address, a governing court — the document says so rather than printing a plausible-looking placeholder.

Material changes are announced by email and by an in-app notice before they take effect — never applied silently to a policy you already accepted.

Ask before you agree.

If a clause here would change your decision, write to us and we will explain what it means in practice.
